The computer team has been working in the basement for three hours now and we are still not back online. The servers went down sometime during the night and we were all notified to not come to work until they were back up and running. I knew that I had a lot of paperwork to catch up on and did not need my computer so I came in anyways.

I have been keeping everyone up to date with my phone, sending out mass emails through it. Most of them have told me that we should not have gone with the used hp servers like we did last month. They all seemed to think that we should have bought new and we would not be having this trouble. I do not agree, I know of many different places that have decided to install used proliant servers and they have not had the kind of trouble we are having right now.

I called a few different computer places and explained what was going on with our used proliant servers and they all recommended that we replace a couple of key parts and that they should be fine after that. I sent out a mass email again from my phone letting everyone know that as soon as the parts were delivered for the used hp servers that we should be back up and running.
